         THE HOTTEST HOLLISTER summer is about to make landfall! This season, the Southern California dream is introducing the "Hollister House" – a pop-up, festival-like epicenter of HCo. awesomeness in SoCal. To feature an in-house exclusive collection of new styles (including a Jeans Lounge), onsite recordings of the #SoCalStylists, and live performances by some of today's most popular young artists, the Hollister House will kickoff on Saturday, May 24, coinciding with basically the majority of teens in America out of school and ready for a summer blast!

THE #BADASS MUSICAL LINEUP, DUDE!

Hollister fans around the world will be able to keep it cool with the weekly Hollister House happenings via the HCo social media platforms and the Hollister House Collection line (to be available throughout the season starting in mid-May) for Dudes and Bettys instores worldwide.

Furthermore, as part of the event, Hollister Co. is having the Send Me To SoCal sweepstakes to give out five grand prizes of a round-trip flight for two to Santa Monica, California (must travel on August 1 and return August 4); 3-nights paid hotel accommodations and provided travel to and from airport/hotel and to and from hotel and Hollister House; US$500 in spending money; AND a US$250 Hollister Co. gift card. Contest is only open to residents of the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom with five entry periods every day beginning May 8 (12:00am; EST, UTC+5) and ending May 12 (11:59pm; EST, UTC+5). One award given per entry period with each of an approximate value of US$11,045 with contest giveaways totalling US$55,225 (approximated values ultimately subject change due to airfare fluctuations and distance between departures and destinations). The entire program comes in a year in which Abercrombie & Fitch Co. has been pushing to reconnect on an "in" and relevant level with the demographics of its brands' targeted consumers by interacting openly with today's of-the-moment fashion happenings and pop culture cool. Considering the incredible lineup for the Hollister House – commencing its greatness with Ariana Grande and including other rising hot arists like Cody Simpson, MKTO, Zendaya (actress/singer with a massive backing from her fame stemming from Disney Channel's Shake It Up), and Lucy Hale (actress and now-debuting singer known worldwide as Aria from Pretty Little Liars) – it's definitely gonna bring hang-ten waves of attention, far and wide, among youths (even those previously not much into the brand itself) to the furthering cool of Hollister!

Emma later had a plane to catch to Tokyo before heading to LA for an extended trip in the States. Thus, she was unable to attend the A&F Shanghai inauguration. However, the awe-inspiring store will be there when she returns...and at least missed not where the hot guys and all the hype!

Spotted in Pop Culture! | Steve McQueen by Sid Avery...

         AS A SPECIAL feature on this #TBT (Throwback Thursday), #THEHOTTESTBLOG pays tribute to commanding Hollywood icon Terence Steven McQueen (b.1930 - d.1980) as featured in Vanity Fair's"The 20th Annual Hollywood Issue" March 2014 special collectors edition. Known more casually as "Steve", the King of Cool forms part of a golden trove of actors of a bygone Hollywood to have been photographed by the celebrated Sid Avery (b.1918 - d.2002) of "quiet mastery [and] guileless charm." Steve's iconic photo by Avery is of him rollin' through Nichols Canyon in Hollywood Hills in 1960. Classic photography by Editor-in-Chief C.E.R. captures the beautiful piece in timeless code...

The late Steve is the grandfather of our boy, Steven R. McQueen, who's one of the seven beloved young stars as cast for "A&F The Making of a Star" Spring 2014...

S.M. Highlights! | Abercrombie & Fitch Spring 2014 – The Making of a Star: The Party

         #AFSTYLE SHINED BRIGHT on Saturday, February 22, during the star-studded A&F The Making of a Star party in Los Angeles. In celebration of the all-new Abercrombie & Fitch Spring 2014 campaign (featuring some of the most well-beloved youths of today's pop culture entertainment), the event was hosted by Abercrombie in partnership with Teen Vogue – America's preeminent fashion and style bible for the younger crowd of fashionistas.

In beautiful attendance were The Making of a Star cast members Colton Haynes, Christa B. Allen, Debby Ryan, Steven R. McQueen, Jazzlyn Marae, and Kylie Bunbury. Missing was Diego Boneta who had to be on-location in Barcelona for production for his upcoming film, Summer Camp. Meanwhile, fellow Teen Voguer's favorite guy, Style Features Director Andrew Bevan, stepped in for the mag, reppin' at the event, and mingling with the Making of a Star cast and other young celebrities present for all the killer cool!

Awesome decor, skee ball fun, and fantastic party favors furthermore livened up the enjoyment along with exclusive live musical performance by Brooklyn-based electropop St. Lucia featuring additional inclusions of DJ sets by St. Lucia's Jean-Philip Grobler and San Francisco-based DJ and producer, Viceroy. A&F Store Models were at the ready attending to guests and ensuring things kept on running so hella FIERCE!
