         THE OPENING OF Hollister in Mall of the Emirates was amazing! I reached the mall at around 9:55AM – 5 minutes before it opened – and there was a huge line, but it was definitely worth the wait. I spent, like, 30 minutes in the changing room just trying on clothes. Hollister is one of my favourite shops, it's like my second home, and I adore the clothes...and the guys are so hot. :$ Here are some of the photos I took...

EDITORS NOTE: Inauguration of this new store in Dubai drew an awesome significant amount of traffic, though it was purposely a less-ostentatious (however, still fun!) celebratory affair than typical in other international markets because of regional cultural norms. HCo "Hot Lifeguards" were stylishly fully clothed. Abercrombie & Fitch Co. will continue to work with Majid Al Futtaim Fashion in expanding its brands in the region.

Stores Allure! | Hollister Co. Mall of the Emirates Opening Soon...

         THERE'S A NEW store causing quite a buzz in one of the most upmarket shopping malls in the world. The hoardings have just been taken down over the past two weeks and the beautiful storefront of the brand new Hollister Co. store can be seen.

The store is causing such a storm because it symbolises the arrival of A&F in the United Arab Emirates. Helped by Majid Al Futtaim Fashions, an investment group, the brand is going to be expanding into the UAE over the next year. There is already an A&F store planned, although the location of it has not been released as of yet. The Hollister brand is the main focus for expansion as it has a wider target audience, which is helped by the lower price point.

The store features parts of the new design, which was shown at the quarterly earnings presentation back in October. The store design is similar to the Nanjing store which opened last month. I genuinely really like the design of this store, it adds a sort of modern look to the whole brand...

Anyhow, the store opens 10:00AM (UTC+4), 2 January 2014. Two "hot lifeguards" are already at the store, but are notably more covered up than normal! Head down to catch the opening of the new store, or even just to get a picture with the lifeguards!

It sure will be one great opening, and I'll be posting pictures from the opening day soon after!

Stores Allure! | Hollister Co. Nanjing, China Store...

         A NEW PIER has opened in Nanjing, China! The newest Hollister Co. store is located at the IST Mall in central Nanjing. It opened last Thursday, December 12, with a wave of fans queuing outside and eagerly waiting the epic opening. Hollister definitely did not disappoint by even sending four of their best known 'Hot Lifeguards'!

The store looks great and is gigantic! There appears to be an upstairs & downstairs which ensures that Hollister keeps a dominant figure in the incrementally ravenous, fast-paced Chinese fashion market. The store features the newly updated store design featuring wood and glass facades as opposed to the usual beach-hut entrance that we have all become too accustomed to! The format does still continue with video display across the windows as typical internationally – no see-through windows as shown in the CGI rendering that the Company showed at the shareholder's meeting, but I have to say I love the screens and the woodwork! It creates such a beautiful store!

In the run-up to the store opening, Hollister posted the following video on its Sina Weibo account...

The lifeguards posted some amazing pictures on Instagram whilst they were visiting Nanjing, before jetting off to Japan to open the new Hollister store in LalaPort ShinMisato, which will open on the 19th of December, perfect for the Holiday season! This store will feature the classic 'Beach Hut' design. I've included some of the photos from the Nanjing opening below for your viewing!

News Now! | Hollister Co. Lalaport Shin Misato, Japan Opening Soon...

         FOLLOWING THE MASSIVE success of Hollister's September 14 inauguration in Japan at LalaPort Yokohama, the Company now is busy organising the next great opening in the Land of the Rising Sun! The nation's second Hollister Co. store will be radiating SoCal cool from the LalaPort Shin Misato shopping center which is just a little over one hour away from the Yokohama store and nearly the same distance as it from central Tokyo – both shops strategically within reach of the Greater Tokyo Area from either opposite direction!

To be totally EPIC with the Hot Lifeguards on board, the opening party for the new Pier kicks off on December 19 at 10:00AM (JST; UTC+ 9)! It'll be hard to beat the MASSIVE queue of amazing fans at the Yokohama store opening, but we're sure that this store opening will be amazing, too!

The team in Japan has been busy advertising for the opening, putting up posters on trains and in the mall. Below, you can see one of the posters that @zach_oneal1228 (instagram) spotted on one of the trains...

The store is still under wraps, with hoardings still covering the storefront. Nevertheless, it is apparent to the passerby that this will be a very nicely sizable store for the stoked fan!

On Saturday, 14 September, Abercrombie & Fitch Co. expanded its presence in the Land of the Rising Sun with the opening of its very first Hollister Co. store in Japan! The all-new Pier destination for the Southern Cali fantasy is situated in the LaLaport Yokohama shopping mall of Yokohama (a part of the Greater Tokyo Area). Hollister Co. Yokohama, Japan Opening September 14!

The Land of the Rising Sun is getting ready to hang-ten – in total über waves of ultimate cool, dude! – with the upcoming opening of Japan's first Hollister Co.! The hot lifeguards of the Southern California fantasy, a la abs galore, have been prepping the stoked Japanese fans for the epic landfall scheduled to go down on Saturday (土曜日), September 14 (9月 14日), 10:00 (JST). The latest HCo pier opens shop at the Lalaport Yokohama shopping center in the city of Yokohama which, bearing the second greatest population in the nation, is the capital of the Kanagawa prefecture, and found within the vicinity of the Greater Tokyo Area urban behemoth... Now who wouldn't mind a commune from A&F Ginza (Tokyo) to HCo Lalaport Yokohama?!
