A NEW PIER has opened in Nanjing, China! The newest Hollister Co. store is located at the IST Mall in central Nanjing. It opened last Thursday, December 12, with a wave of fans queuing outside and eagerly waiting the epic opening. Hollister definitely did not disappoint by even sending four of their best known 'Hot Lifeguards'!
The store looks great and is gigantic! There appears to be an upstairs & downstairs which ensures that Hollister keeps a dominant figure in the incrementally ravenous, fast-paced Chinese fashion market. The store features the newly updated store design featuring wood and glass facades as opposed to the usual beach-hut entrance that we have all become too accustomed to! The format does still continue with video display across the windows as typical internationally – no see-through windows as shown in the CGI rendering that the Company showed at the shareholder's meeting, but I have to say I love the screens and the woodwork! It creates such a beautiful store!

The lifeguards posted some amazing pictures on Instagram whilst they were visiting Nanjing, before jetting off to Japan to open the new Hollister store in LalaPort ShinMisato, which will open on the 19th of December, perfect for the Holiday season! This store will feature the classic 'Beach Hut' design. I've included some of the photos from the Nanjing opening below for your viewing!
