CHARLOTTE IN ENGLAND! | THE GIRL IS BACK IN TOWN...

Hi everyone! It's been a while, though hopefully it's been worth it... I've had a full 6 weeks of exams, and let me tell you I am exhausted and ready for a little retail therapy!

So, I've put together three funky outfit ideas to help make spring come a little faster - so, enjoy!

#BEACHWALK

Hollister Fountain Valley Cropped Denim Jacket
A&F Skye Dress

This one's perfect for a leisurely stroll along the shore; whether you're out with your mates, or on a date with that special someone, you're sure to dazzle them all in this fun, flirty little number that's perfect for spring. Pair with your favourite pair of Hollister sandals and a small purse and you're good to go!

#COFFEEDATE

Hollister Doheny Dress
A&F Blake Jacket

And what about this one? Well, you can dress it up or down depending on the occasion! Pair it with some black tights and maroon converse for an effortless yet amazingly unique look, or dress it up with some chic jewellery and your favourite pair of flats for a breathtaking look perfect for any springtime date.

#EVENINGOUT

Hollister Calabasas Dress
A&F Beth Jacket

And now for my personal favourite. As you can tell, I'm a huge fan of the jackets this season and this 'Beth' jacket from A&F is my pick of the bunch. Completely unique and available in two extremely wearable colours, it looks fab paired with a dress in a funky print (like the Hollister 'Calabasas' Dress) and a pair of sandals...so perfect for leaving an impression on someone on a night out.

Hope I've helped to inspire you! Next week will be some outfits based around my favourite skirts of the season! Bye for now!

Charlotte in England! | New Year, New Clothes!

Morning all! Hope you've had a fantastic New Year! I don't know about you, but I've been taking advantage of the sales over here in the rainy North West. On to the haul!

Now, although it's still freezing here, I've been starting to build up my spring/summer wardrobe with some of the things in the sales. Here's all the tops I bought:

Dana Strands Cami
Fallbrook Strapless Top

I think each of these would look fabulous paired with either some light was jeans or some shorts, and a black or neutral cardigan in the spring to keep the chill away. I couldn't resist the neon pink of the 'Dana Strands Cami', and I ordered the 'Fallbrook Strapless top' off the website because I thought it was just too fun and flirty to resist!

Highway 101 Cami
Harbor Beach Cami

And while I bought the other two camis more as staple tops for summer, I think they're so versatile- you could wear them with shorts for a casual look or pair them with dark wash skinny jeans and some bright jewellery (my favourite colour for accessories this season is coral) and a black cardigan for a cute date-night look!

And as we're on the subject of jeans, I'm loving the destroyed medium washes that are currently in the Hollister sale, so much so that I've bought a gorgeous pair of shorts and a pair of jeans too!

Hollister Skinny Jeans- destroyed medium wash
White Point Shorts- destroyed medium wash

Morgan dress

And last but of course not least is this fabulous dress from Abercrombie and Fitch which I've had my eye on for months, so much so that I've written about it in my articles before. Here it is, the fabulous 'Morgan' dress in navy and green:

So that's it! What have you guys been splurging on? Let me know in the comments and share your hauls! I can't wait to read about what you've all bought!

Have a FIERCE 2013!
Love and hugs, Charlotte x

A Hollister Girl in England! | Boxing Day Sales...

A belated Merry Christmas to you all! Hope you've had an amazing two weeks since I've last posted! And do you know what I'm doing today? I'm going into Liverpool to check out the boxing day sales! Hopefully I'll be able to find some amazing deals to show you all.

In the meantime, have you checked out the funky new tanks that are just perfect for the spring? Take a look at these....

'Beach Street' tank
Ilana tank

'Seaside Reef' tank

Wouldn't they look perfect with some cutoffs or just your favourite pair of faded jeans? *sigh* I can't wait for spring!

Sorry for the short post folks, but it's a bit of a hectic time round here. I might be a bit scarce for the next couple of weeks- I've got my first AS level exams starting in January, but I'll still post! The last thing I want is to let you guys down :)

See you next week!

A Hollister Girl in England! | ♪'Frosty the Schoolgirl...'♪

Well hello! I don't know about the weather where you guys are, but I've been freezing standing at the bus stop - it was -2°C today! When the temperatures get that cold, I need my clothes to be practical and keep me warm- and when you shop at Hollister as often as I do, you won't fail in looking stylish!

I thought I'd do two 'Outfit of the Day' ideas, based what I've been wearing to college recently. Here we go...

Outfit 1

A&F 'Theresa Hoodie'
'A&F Super Skinny Dark Wash Jeans'
Hollister 'Oceanside' tee

Here we've got a cute, cozy outfit for a frosty day. Your favourite hoodie in the colour of your choice (mine's maroon, as you can probably tell :D ) will look effortlessly easy paired with some stylish Abercrombie jeans. Pair with some Converse or some boots to help you survive your daily trudge into school.

Outfit 2

'Theresa' sweater
'Orange Country' sweater

'Hermosa' shorts
For the more daring of you girls out there, here's an outfit based very closely on what I wore on Friday. A dark sweater or long cardigan looks epic paired with some brightly coloured plaid shorts. And don't forget your pair of thick black tights to keep out the chill! I wore this outfit with my favourite pair of Doc Martens and I was good to go!

I know I never step out the door without my trusty winter accessories. And for the girls who can't get enough Abercrombie, here's some fantastic accessories that have to be must-haves on your Christmas list!

'So Cal Tote'
A&F 'Cute Winter Hat'

A&F 'Woven Scarf'

Enjoy! Keep warm and please comment! See you next week :)

A Hollister Girl in England! | Cute in the Cold...

So who's going to a Christmas party this year? I know I am! And really, can you think of a better way to spend those cold winter nights than hanging with your friends? Up North here in England, short skirts and dresses are still all the rage, particularly where I live in Liverpool, even though the temperature is near freezing. I found out today that the sun set at 3:55PM...well before I got out of college. How depressing is that?

Anyhow, back to fashion! I've compiled some daring styles so that girls can look fabulous even in the frosty nights of Britain. Here's what I'll be wearing to a friend's Christmas party next week:

Betty's 'Dockweiler Beach' dress
'Royal Palms Beach Sweater'

I think the bold red colour of the dress is really festive, and that its flirty style will look amazing paired with black suede wedges, a black cardigan, a black clutch and I definitely won't be forgetting a thick pair of black tights to keep the cold out.

'Eden' dress
Here's another outfit I'm considering investing in. The 'Eden' dress would look magical paired with black flats and a pair of red, maroon, burgundy or even dark green tights to add a festive splash of colour. And don't forget your knitware to keep your shoulders covered - keeping warm is especially important this time of year so do your best to keep covered!

Lads, this applies to you too! If you need inspiration of what to wear, try and go for a smart-casual look inspired by the one below.

'Breakwall' shirt
'Hollister Skinny Chinos'

A white or check shirt paired with some chinos (and some mistletoe!) will be sure to help you be noticed all night long!

See you next week! Feel free to add your own party outfit combinations in the comments :)

A Hollister Girl in England! | Ready to Get Festive?

Hey readers! It's just under a month till Christmas so I thought I'd do a few weeks of outfits to count down to the big day to help make your Christmas shopping just a little bit easier...

This week, I'll focus on formal Christmas parties. Imagine this: you and your colleagues have booked a table at a swanky restaurant; you know you'll enjoy it but before you can you have to find the perfect outfit! But how can you when you're stressing out over how to look both classy yet cute? Well, I'm here to help! Here's my pick of outfits to help you keep cool:

'Morgan' dress in dark green. | Abercrombie & Fitch
Hollister's 'Addison' fragrance
'Embellished Bracelet'

This outfit will help you make a splash while looking effortless. Try pairing a 'Morgan' dress in a flattering colour with matching black tights, bag and flats for a modest yet stunning look. Accessorize with Hollister's new range of bracelets and don't forget a spray of your favourite scent like Hollister's Addison to complete your ensemble.

And don't think I've forgotten the guys!

'Jay Range' shirt
'Heritage Leather Belt'

Try an Abercrombie 'Jay Range' shirt paired with a tie and your favourite smart trousers for a dashing look this festive season. Don't forget to add a 'Heritage Leather Belt' and some FIERCE cologne to complete the look.

Hope this helps to sort out some of your shopping dilemmas and gives you a styling idea! See you next week!

A Hollister Girl in England! | Bring on the Shirts!

Morning all! I have to say, I've been loving the introduction of denim shirts to the shelves of Hollister and A&F this fall- no matter how you wear them they just complete an effortless yet gorgeous look.

North Jetty Denim Shirt
La Jolla Denim Shirt

Personally I love the look of either the 'North Jetty Denim Shirt' or the 'La Jolla Denim Shirt' open over a faded tee paired with dark leggings in either navy or black, with nude or neutral flats and a little black bag. For an alternate look, especially for us experiencing colder weather, try a Christmassy look by wearing the shirt with a pair of bright red leggings. There's nothing like a bright splash of colour to liven up a dreary weekday..

Hadley Chiffon Shirt
Speaking of fantastically stylish shirts, have you checked out Abercrombie and Fitch's chiffon shirts?  I think one like the 'Hadley' shirt would look amazing tucked into a pair of burgundy or other darker colour shorts paired with black tights and your favourite pair of comfy flats.

I hope I've given you some inspiration on how to style some of my favourite items from the current collections.

See you next week!
