A Hollister Girl in England! | Cute in the Cold...

So who's going to a Christmas party this year? I know I am! And really, can you think of a better way to spend those cold winter nights than hanging with your friends? Up North here in England, short skirts and dresses are still all the rage, particularly where I live in Liverpool, even though the temperature is near freezing. I found out today that the sun set at 3:55PM...well before I got out of college. How depressing is that?

Anyhow, back to fashion! I've compiled some daring styles so that girls can look fabulous even in the frosty nights of Britain. Here's what I'll be wearing to a friend's Christmas party next week:

Betty's 'Dockweiler Beach' dress
'Royal Palms Beach Sweater'

I think the bold red colour of the dress is really festive, and that its flirty style will look amazing paired with black suede wedges, a black cardigan, a black clutch and I definitely won't be forgetting a thick pair of black tights to keep the cold out.

'Eden' dress
Here's another outfit I'm considering investing in. The 'Eden' dress would look magical paired with black flats and a pair of red, maroon, burgundy or even dark green tights to add a festive splash of colour. And don't forget your knitware to keep your shoulders covered - keeping warm is especially important this time of year so do your best to keep covered!

Lads, this applies to you too! If you need inspiration of what to wear, try and go for a smart-casual look inspired by the one below.

'Breakwall' shirt
'Hollister Skinny Chinos'

A white or check shirt paired with some chinos (and some mistletoe!) will be sure to help you be noticed all night long!

See you next week! Feel free to add your own party outfit combinations in the comments :)
