Abercrombie & Fitch Amsterdam Flagship to Have No 'abercrombie kids' on Opening Day...

Less than nine days before the opening of the first Abercrombie & Fitch in the Netherlands, we bring you this piece of news: there will be NO abercrombie kids available at Leidsestraat 34 on opening day Thursday, December 13. The childrenswear will be in absence at A&F Amsterdam for an indefinite amount of time until future notice. Sales floor space has been reserved for abercrombie kids merchandise at the fourth and fifth level, but there has been no shipment of a&f kids goods. For now, the staff has only been settting up the sales floors with Abercrombie & Fitch merchandise on the ground floor and the subsequent upper two levels. Basically, only three sales levels – all Abercrombie & Fitch – will only be available for customers on opening day and onward for the time being.

Note the "Type". Also, online on the store locator, A&F Amsterdam is listed as an upcoming A&F store opening. abercrombie kids online has no such store listing.

If you will furthermore notice, there has been no 'abercrombie kids' name plaque placed at the entrance of Leidsestraat 34...there is only one for Abercrombie & Fitch. As you must know, it is customary to place an 'Abercrombie & Fitch' and 'abercrombie kids' name plaque at the entrances of dual A&F / abercrombie kids locations. A&F Amsterdam has only been given an Abercrombie & Fitch one...

Also, as of now, it seems that there will only be three fitting rooms available...maybe more will be added for the opening (you better hope so, otherwise it will be hell trying on clothing!). Store models have already chosen their A&F Looks to wear, as well! The opening day is getting ever near and the guys will be arriving to heat things most likely this Friday as is the tradition. The countdown is about to begin...
