FIERCE ICON bottle and promotional sample... | Image, Michel for The Sitch on Fitch |
Introduced for test on the sales floor, in late-April, in select Abercrombie & Fitch stores exclusively, and solely in the home American market, FIERCE ICON retailed at US$54 for 1.7 fl oz and was packaged elegantly in a matte black and gray design which bares in form along the codes of luxurious FIERCE INTENSE concentrated cologne. Read more about FIERCE ICON from when it was originally released in test, (here).
The resulting outcome of retreating it is rather much of a shame. It will be undisclosed how much of investment in research and development, to realize the product, was actually put in place and now gone down the drain. The scent itself could perhaps be rebranded and fully intelligently marketed in the future - if that is even an option the Company can see or not, depending.
To see if you're able to collect one before they're made unavailable, head over to the store locator on abercrombie.com to find a local Abercrombie & Fitch store to you and give them a call and see if they even got a shipment and can sell one to you. Once again, take note, had only been made available in the United States.
Meanwhile, A&F Summer cologne, which was in development at the same time as FIERCE ICON and released days later, has now advanced to being placed up online abercrombie.com for the U.S. and the United Kingdom (where, by the publishing of this post, went "sold out")!
Perhaps this just goes to show that there can truly be no FIERCE "ICON" but the original himself...
Stay FIERCE!
