How are y'all? There has been so much going on in the past few weeks in the world of A&F. I've collected some of the biggest updates, along with a very exciting exclusive! So let's get started...

EXCLUSIVE! THE A&F BRANDS ARE COMING TO BRAZIL!

Yes, you read that right. A&F is expanding into the Brazilian market! While there has been no official word from the Company, an employment website has stated that the company has opportunities for the MIT program in Brazil, along with other locations, such as Dubai, the USA and Australia. Following previous international expansion patterns, the Hollister brand should come first, then followed by A&F. Although, they could decide to launch an A&F flagship first? Maybe, maybe not. This is just in time for the FIFA World Cup in Summer 2014 & the Rio Olympics in 2016. Where do you think A&F will launch first? Could it be in the high-fashion Sao Paulo or in the centre of all the sporting madness in Rio de Janeiro? Let me know in the comments below!

EVERYBODY WINS AT HCo. & A&F STORES!

The opportunities continue on! Head to a Hollister or A&F store in the USA or Canada, any weekend (Friday through Sunday) or on Labor Day, to get a unique code. When you text your code to the number stated on the card, you could instantly win either a pair of jeans or a giftcard! 'FIND IN STORE' WEBSITE FEATURE!

On every product detail page, you will find a tab entitled 'Find In Store'. This feature then searches in the stores around you to find which one has the product in stock you want! This is such a brilliant idea, and make good use of it, especially if you are only going in store for just the one product...but who can really do that? ;)

Hollister Bondi Junction, Sydney!

Hey Dudes and Betty's!

So Hollister opened in Sydney last Thursday, and it was pretty awesome! This is the second Hollister store in Australia, the first being in Westfield Doncaster, Melbourne, which was covered last week. I've managed to get hold of a few photos of the opening from the Westfield Bondi Junction Facebook Page and their Instagram. Check them out below!

I hope you are all well this week!

On Easter Friday, 29th March, I headed to Glasgow's Braehead Shopping Centre to see if I could pick up a bargain in Hollister's 25% off deal! Yes, they finally started doing sales on all stock! Haha. The store was absolutely packed with the queue stretching half way into the second Betty's room. All the cash registers were manned, but I still waited a good 25 minutes to be served. They only had one lot of changing rooms open, so I waited in a queue there for at least 15 minutes. But hey-ho, it's just part of the Hollister experience ;)

I managed to pick up up a few good deals, including three hoodies, and a jacket. More on that soon. The 25% off offer excluded body care, fragrance, gift cards and clearance (damn...). The new Trinity Leeds store was also excluded from the offer.

What did I buy? Not an awful lot, really. They didn't have any of the new tees in with the Instagram photos on, the Pier View Beach ones, which was disappointing, as these were reduced to only £12 on the site! In the end, I bought...

Comin' Up! Hollister in Sydney and Melbourne, Australia...

There has been talk at Abercrombie & Fitch Co, for the past couple of months, about the entrance of the Company into markets in the Southern Hemisphere. Apart from being an exciting new endeavor in the international expansion of the Company, entrance into the southern half of the world brings the all-new challenge of operating as a fashion retailer in differing seasonal climates (as the Company has as of now been exclusively present in the Northern Hemisphere). As recently as the Q2 Fiscal 2012 earnings disclosure, Janathan E. Ramsden (CFO, Principle Accounting Officer, and Executive VP) shared specifically that store openings for 2013 will be including the Company's first venture into Australia with the Hollister brand. And now, as of 4 September 2012, the Company has succeed in securing retail real estate agreements to bring the fantasy of Southern California to the two great Australian cities of Sydney and Melbourne!

If you did not know, Sydney and Melbourne have been fellow rivals for a long, long time; but fortunately for all, Hollister is surfing in to party with them both! We all know, of course, of the cool of Sydney and the fantastic cultural nods to its appeal – Finding Nemo and Gilly Hicks, anyone? – that are famous for their vibrancy and fun. And with its population of 4.6 million Sydneysiders, it's the most populous of Australia's cities. Nevertheless, Melbourne has its own special crew of 4.1 million good folks driving in full gear what is often said to be the cultural capital of Down Under! Which ever your favorite, both cities are world class and made the top 10 list of The Economist Intelligence Unit's Global Livability Report. The best of Australia will meet all-American, Southern California cool...

Abercrombie & Fitch Co has been working with the Westfield Group – the Australia-based, international shopping center group – for years in acquiring notable retail spots in the United States and in the United Kingdom. Now that Company is spreading its footprint into Australia, plans for the first Hollister shops in the nation have been naturally set through agreements with the Westfield Group. Hollister's shop in Sydney will be opening inside the six-level complex Westfield Bondi Junction; the Melbourne store will be located in Westfield Doncaster.

The Company is very confident in its new venture, and why wouldn't it? The Hollister brand has been an overwhelming runaway success in its international activities. "WE LOVE HOLLISTER!" rings true and clear from the passion of stoked fans across Europe, Hong Kong, and even in China! It's all the power of an iconic concept at work. And in regards to operating on new territory in the Southern Hemisphere, Mike Jeffries (Chairman & CEO) is confident that A&F Singapore has proven that the Company can manage different climate zones across its board of shops across the world.

A more specific opening time frame is not yet known. But 2013 will be the year...
