News Now! | Abercrombie & Fitch Spring 2014 – The Making of a Star: The Events...

Among the featured highly relevant pop-culture stars are
Christa Allen (Revenge) , Colton Haynes (Teen Wolf; Arrow), and Debbie Ryan (Jessie)
who hold national (and even global) popularity starring in American hit series.

IN VIGOR, FUN, and shine, the all-new Abercrombie & Fitch Spring 2014 campaign – "A&F The Making of a Star" – was released on Friday, January 31, with a FIERCE zest to stoke up hype #ABERCROMBIEHOT right at the beginnings of this new year! Unlike any Spring campaign ever before, A&F The Making of a Star is one of an unprecedented robust character to resurge sizzling energy, pop culture relevancy, and ultimate engagement with the public once more. Incorporating elements which had typically been reserved for during Back-to-School seasons (notably 2004, 2010, and 2013), this reawakening campaign at the start of the mid-2010s (and of a new period for the betterment of Abercrombie & Fitch) follows along the lines of the A&F "rising stars" marketing program though this one is not so much about starting-off artists like prior ones, but markedly includes some individuals who already command a notably strong national and global awareness and attraction with their work and character. Furthermore, A&F The Making of a Star makes use of freshly original and beloved Bruce Weber photography and short films hallmark of A&F's classic appeal.

The most popular of the Making of a Star repertoire is Colton Haynes who started his modeling career first appearing for Abercrombie & Fitch in 2004. Then venturing into acting with an uncredited appearance in Transformers and other followups (including The CW's Melrose Place and ABC's The Gates with A&F model-alumni Katie Cassidy and James Preston, respectively), Colton gained high recognition among fans by playing as the self-centered, privileged badboy lacrosse captain Jackson Whittemore in seasons one and two of MTV's international supernatural hit, Teen Wolf. He now portrays Roy Harper on The CW's mystery/crime/drama superhero hit, Arrow. Apart from that, Colton is still a killer model and now budding singer and Instagram king! He recently parodied lightheartedly Jennifer Lawrence in her Dior Fall-Winter 2013/14 Haute Couture dress she wore to the 2014 Golden Globes and his pic even got featured on E!'s Fashion Police.

Followups in popularity because of their appearances in notable series, films, and ads are: actor Christa Allen from ABC's primetime international-hit mystery drama-thriller, Revenge, in which she plays the more innocent Charlotte Grayson (whose family is a conniving upper-class social, political, and financial mover and shaker residing in the Hamptons); actor and musician Debbie Ryan from Disney's popular Jessie (an amusing young nanny to an entertaining family of adopted, wealthy Manhattan kids); Mexican singer and actor, Diego Boneta, who starred alongside Julianne Hough, Tom Cruise, and an ensemble cast in Rock of Ages and also as Alex Santiago in ABC Family's mystery thriller international-hit, Pretty Little Liars (five episodes), as Javier Luna on The CW's 90210 (five episodes), and as Rocco in the internationally popular Mexican telenovela Rebelde (now in syndication) among other Mexican and American features; Steven R. McQueen from the still on-going internationally popular supernatural drama series, The Vampire Diaries, on The CW and grandson of the deceased "King of Cool" Hollywood star Terence Steven McQueen; Jazzlyn Marae from ABC Family's fantasy drama, Nine Lives of Chloe King, and Nickelodeon's Fred: The Movie and national commercials for Milk and Neutrogena; and Kylie Bunbury from ABC Family's mystery thriller, Twisted. The great cast was brought together featuring, as aforementioned, select young popular figures who already claim wide popularity, relevancy, and awareness, to garner for the brand, and accomplishing already, the public's and media's attention on a wide, diverse scale.

View their introductory profiles in highlight of the new campaign at #THEHOTTESTBLOG (here) and see them at abercrombie.com, under the site's mens and womens divisions, for full photography collection and furthermore post-production style pieces.

Amping up excitement in engaging its fans, Abercrombie & Fitch will host for the first time ever a Q&A session via Twitter with three of its featured stars. The first will be with Diego on Thursday, February 6, and two more will follow, spaced apart throughout the Spring campaign, with Debbie and Steven. Leading up to this first Q&A, fans are encouraged to tweet their questions to @Abercrombie with the hashtag #AskDiego.

Furthermore, on Saturday, February 22, a great party, in honor of the amazing The Making of a Star repertoire, will be held in Los Angeles. Brooklyn-based electropop St. Lucia will be providing exclusive live musical performance with additional inclusions of DJ sets by St. Lucia's Jean-Philip Grobler and San Francisco-based DJ and producer, Viceroy.
