The Matchbox Graphic Tee makes an awesome reference to the badass track, "The Roof is on Fire" (1984), originally by Rock Master Scott & the Dynamic Three. The track reached #5 on Billboard Hot Dance Music/Maxi-Singles Sales, and it's most known for its ending liners, "The roof, the roof, the roof is on fire! / We don't need no water; let the motherfucker burn! / Burn, motherfucker, burn!"
The track is real awesome. And kinda reminded a bit of the great "Lala Song (Radio Edit)" from the A&F Back-to-School 2009 playlist! Perhaps because it feels of a similar vein in attitude. So, so Awesome.
Furthermore, the New York Graphic Tee offers a real nice color street graphics alternative featuring the popular lyrics from The Beastie Boys' eponymous rap rock track, "No Sleep Till Brooklyn" (1986), paying homage to the New York City borough...
With timeless sensibility and ace clutch, these tees are just total must-haves, homeslice...
Stay FIERCE!
