Under Construction! | Renovation Work Nears Completion at Leidsestraat 34 for Abercrombie in Amsterdam!

Now that we've been though A&F Munich and A&F Dublin, there's only one final store opening to go this holiday season...the dual Abercrombie & Fitch / abercrombie kids flagship store at Leidsestraat 34! (PLEASE NOTE: While there is space in the building reserved for abercrombie kids, there will be no Kids merchandise on opening day). It'll be the first A&F location in the Netherlands where it will be partying it up in the awesome city of Amsterdam! Obviously, there are loads of fans completely excited for the impending opening event on Thursday, December 13... And we're all betting it's gonna be an incredible finale to the store openings of 2012!

An awesome reader of The Sitch on Fitch, E.R., recently sent us this image of the structure as seen in darker hours of the day. Very cool!






But since that time that image was taken, most of the scaffolding has been taken down from the facade. Our Amsterdam correspondent, Ivana, made sure to get some more revealing recent snapshots on Thursday, November 8...

UPDATE (3 DECEMBER 2012): Leidsestraat 34 has received no shipments for abercrombie kids merchandise. There is space reserved in the building for the brand, but there will be no merchandise coming in soon. abercrombie kids will not be available on opening day.
