Another awesome fan has pointed out to us more appearances of Abercrombie on the screen! This time in Glee and Modern Family...
The character of Finn Hudson wears Abercrombie frequently in the the American musical comedy-drama, Glee. Considering that the character is portrayed as a lower middle class youth, you'd have to ask yourself how it is that he can afford the clothing. But he typically wears only polos and loose-fitting to his torso, so they could just be hand-me-downs or something. Who knows. Finn is a football player in the series, and so the incorporation of A&F pieces into the character's wardrobe must be a subtle nod to his "jockness" - that and he was the most popular kid in school until his ignorant peers began teasing him for joining Glee Club.
Anyway, the times Finn has appeared bearing the Abercrombie moose are numerous and span loads episodes throughout three seasons of Glee. His most recent appearance in an A&F piece was in episode 15, season 3, titled "Big Brother" (originally aired on 10 April 2012). The following screenshot is when Finn asks his girlfriend Rachael to love him for who he is, not for who she wants him to be. Rachael wants them both to move to New York as she pursues a dream in theater, while Finn has come to question this as it being more about her without considering his want in life...
Glee is a truly awesome show and if you see it, then you can, too, spot Finn in his A&F gear!
The second screenshot is from Modern Family and features the character of Manny Delgado. His last name means "thin" in Spanish, and the irony here is that Manny is not thin at all. LOL. In the following scene (episode 1, season 1), pre-teen Manny is at the mall and gives flowers and reads a poem to a 16-year old girl he likes....only for her to tell him that she has a boyfriend. Here's him in front of abercrombie kids during the Summer 2009 fashion season...
Modern Family is a fun and hilarious show itself!

Oh, and the screenshots have French subtitles because they were sent in to us by our Francophone reader, Vincent, to whom we thank for keeping a sharp lookout for whenever A&F will show up!
