The latest addition to the FIERCE collection, the candle! | abercrombie.com |
FIERCE was developed in 2002 for Abercrombie & Fitch by world-renown perfumers Christophe Laudamiel and Carlos Benaim – the same perfumers who together developed Blue for Ralph Lauren among other iconic fragrances, though they've also individually worked on other greats (i.e. Benaim for Calvin Klein Euphoria). For many years, FIERCE has gained a controversial outlook in the American and International markets due to the heavy spraying in A&F stores and the racy, half-nude advertising image featured behind the glass bottle. Nonetheless, FIERCE is arguably one of the best if not the best musk fragrance ever created, and it offers a scent that is unique and highly distinguishable. To those unfamiliar with the fragrance, FIERCE's notes include orange and lemon, followed by rosemary, jasmine, lili of the valley, and rose, with a base of musk, oak moss, vetiver, and Brazilian rosewood. It's no question that wearing FIERCE will gain you attention and compliments from those who come close to you, which is why it has remained as one of the top selling fragrances of all time.
Now back to the candle! Abercrombie & Fitch released this new creation in a sharply modern, dark-tinted square jar with the Abercrombie & Fitch emblem printed in white on the face. It is currently available online for US$64 on par with the premium pricing for the FIERCE fragrance line (US$44-118, 1.0 - 6.7 fl oz). Due to the high demand of FIERCE cologne, no promotional sales events ever apply to any of the fragrance bottles, and the same is to be expected for the new candle...
