Photo Exclusives! | Abercrombie & Fitch Amsterdam Flagship Interior Detail...

Housed in a gem of historic Amsterdam architecture, Abercrombie & Fitch at Leeidsestraat 34 offers energetic intimacy between brand and customer...

In spirit of exploration for more insights into the latest of the A&F Flagship line-up, our Amsterdam correspondent, E.R., recently wandered within Leidsestraat 34 on a wonderfully tranquil late-afternoon. No rush. No crowds. Though, of course, plenty of store models and other staff were in presence active in assurance of the A&F Experience.

With the all-new Spring 2013 collections in display, noted was this season's emphasis on blues in all manner of bold fabrics and designs. Between the blue variations, bright and adventurous array of colors mingle stylishly.

Onwards on to the upper levels...the stairway, in all honestly, a killer. But along the way he surveyed and studied the murals – originally created by artist persona Bruce Sargeant. On his inspection, E.R. found that he could not note any relief of paint. The visual texture of artwork is captured, nevertheless. He lingers on the thought that original work by Sargeant must have maybe been already digitally scanned – that what is in this particular flagship, and other places, is a form of wallpaper: portions of Sargeant's general work are repeated in A&F Flagship locations. E.R. vividly recalls in mind much of what he has seen in other locations...an artistic scene of Sargeant's ruggedly-refined nude men bathing together in a river/lake of sorts – that he has seen previously in A&F Paris. Regardless of the methods used to implement the artwork onto the walls, it is of an admirable style signature to the aesthetic of the A&F Flagship and character...

On the third level, womenswear, he captured a playful photo of sneaking up on the FIERCE A&F Moose from behind the foliage of a potted plant...

The last stop is the third level, for the time being, as levels four and five are blocked off from consumer access. The wallspace, running the length of the staircase for the fourth and fifth levels, has no artwork. abercrombie kids at A&F Amsterdam is yet to be introduced for the time being.

For that day, E.R. only purchased a 1.7oz bottle of FIERCE cologne. An appropriate ending note for this visit to A&F Amsterdam...

Stay FIERCE!
