At Abercrombie & Fitch, 50% off indeed!!! |
I got to the mall right at midnight on Black Friday where huge lines had already started by all the doors. For Black Friday in America, most stores in the malls open for their own sales. Starting with the smallest store, I went to abercrombie. Since it was still the beginning of the sale, it wasn't that crowded yet. Being abercrombie kids, kids 10-18 were shopping the sale. While I was there, I heard most of the winter playlist; it's really fabulous. When I left for Hollister, the check-out line was nearing the door!
Hollister is the busiest store in the mall for Black Friday (or really any day). The line to get in went past three stores from the door and grew to nearly the end of the mall. The real reasons everyone waited in line for a sale...there were two of the hottest lifeguards standing at the door! ;) Inside the store, it wasn't really crowded because everyone was in the checkout line around the perimeter of the store from the lounge area around the front and then to the back room on the girl's side. The back room registers were cash only to try to minimize the main register line. Despite the awesome SoCal playlist, the employees were more #SoTired and #SoStressed than #SoChill.
Arriving at Abercrombie & Fitch - also with a hot guy at the door - after Hollister was completely different. As the largest of the three stores in the mall, there were no lines to get in and it had the same cool and collegiate atmosphere we all know and love.
Even waiting in lines for hours (total line time for the night: about 2.5 hours), Black Friday at Abercrombie was totally worth it and I can't wait for next year!
Did you go to Black Friday? Leave me a comment about what it was like at your stores. And If you didn't and/or you live in Europe or Asia, then tell me what you think about my Black Friday haul! :)
Until next Friday...
Stay FIERCE!
