         THERE IN THE roaring glory of the Middle Kingdom, the golden sunrise of the onset of Moose's walk herein shines a forward path, guided by triumphant spirit, in the realization, wrought in wondrous acclamation, of an All-American champion setting groundwork moves for the win!

Illuminated as the next great installment of iconic Abercrombie & Fitch in the People's Republic of China (中华人民共和国) is the great Tianjin (天津), a northeast metropolis - not far southeast from Beijing - distinguished as one of the five National Central Cities (国家中心城市; along with Beijing, Chongqing, Guangzhou, and Shanghai; set for spearheading, in commanding influence far-reaching into their immediate greater regions, the progress and elevation of political, economic, and cultural elements of the country) and one of the four Municipalities (直辖市; along with Beijing, Chongqing, and Shanghai; operating at the highest level of hierarchy classification as being an administrative unit, with a core urban area (the "city"), with province authority over the surrounding designated area comprising of smaller cities/towns/villages) in the nation; its population was quantified by the 2014 census at 11.5 million within the urban area limits and at 15.2 million across the entire Tianjin municipality.

With overall structural design by U.S.-based Kohn Pederson Fox Associates, and with U.K.-based multinational Benoy as interior architect and graphic and signage designer, Riverside 66 (official wbsite) was developed as a mainland China asset of Hong Kong-based Hang Lung Properties Limited (property profile) and is an imposing creation serving as shopping center for premium experience since its inauguration on September 26, 2014.

"Celebrating its proximity to the Haihe which winds through the city centre, Riverside 66 engages with the waterfront through its striking 380m long glass façade. The 152,800m2 retail mall is now one of the longest single structures in the region, creating a new landmark and experience for the city. [...] Specifically designed to engage with the bustling external surroundings, the façade provides a two-way view between the vibrant retail interiors and the streetscape and activities taking place outside. To become the fourth Abercrombie & Fitch opening in mainland China (following the A&F Shanghai flagship in 2014, A&F Chengdu IFS in August 2014, and A&F MixC Qingdao in July 2015; and overall fifth including the monumental historic opening of A&F Hong Kong in August 2012 which inaugurated Abercrombie & Fitch in the greater People's Republic of China), A&F Riverside 66 (CN-ANF; #11257) in Tianjin will furthermore become the third mall-based A&F in the nation (after A&F Chengdu IFS and MixC Qingdao) and second specifically indoor mall-based (after the first, A&F MixC Qingdao).
