Fate was written in the stars for these stratospheric, aspirational Millennial youths who got their first major spotlight by modeling in front of the lens of master photographer Bruce Weber for Mike Jeffries' turn-of-the-century blockbuster Abercrombie & Fitch. Taylor (b.1989; a fact now easily known famously for her recordbreaking 2014 album), featured as a rising star in the premier A&F Magazine Fall 2004 publication (a campaign which went down in history, well-known in the industry, for having pin-pointed the majority of those included who went on to make it major); Karlie (b.1992), abercrombie kids 2007 (she's remained a friend of Weber's with whom she's worked with more since).

Rise began with Taylor's debut self-titled studio album in 2006, and, during her own first modeling year, Karlie was so powerfully alluring that Calvin Klein payed "top-dollar" (as journalist Jane Keltner put it in her profile of her – along with Chanel Iman and Ali Michael – in Teen Vogue February 2008) to keep her exclusively for New York Fashion Week (and awe-strikingly that same initial year in 2007 was signed for "a Gucci exclusive in Milan, and Valentino, Chloé, and Alexander McQueen bookings in Paris"). By the end of the 2000s, both were unstoppable and ever-rising icons: Taylor released her then record-breaking third studio album, Speak Now (2010) and Karlie had already been proclaimed by Vogue Paris as one of the top 30 models of the decade and ranked third on Models.com list of top 50 models of the moment.
"People had been telling us for years we needed to meet. I remember makeup artists and hair people going, 'Doesn't she remind you of Karlie? God, she and Karlie would be best friends. They're the same. Karlie's such a good girl. She brings us cookies every time we do a shoot.'" – Taylor
Then, finally, one of the greatest moments ever arrived... Karlie, now a leading Victoria's Secret Angel, was to walk the 2013 VS Fashion Show, which was to be her second consecutive ever, and Taylor, her first time performing for the event, was totally set to rock onstage! Fellow VS Angel and mutual friend Lily Aldridge then introduced the two backstage, and the rest is epic history: "And we were just like, 'You. My friend. Now," amusingly recollected Swift, to journalist Yada Yuan, for the American Vogue March 2015 exclusive cover story.
Now, The Sitch on Fitch shares with you a unique look on Vogue's "Two for the Show" (featuring photography by Miakel Jansson) - capturing the friendship, fun, and allure of these two remarkable A&F Models alumni - through the photographic perspective of TSOF Editor-in-Chief C.E.R...
...And a cinematic ending.
