Karlie Kloss...she is a star poised for greatness...a supermodel in rise! Countless runway shows, innumerable print ads and photo shoots, and an infinite acclaim of her awe-inspiring character.... Starting her modeling career at a young age, Karlie's first major job was posing for the lens of our beloved photographer Bruce Weber. Before it all, she was Karlie, the cute abercrombie girl at the beach with friends...

Oh, how time has changed into maturity this youthful, gracious flower...

Hailing from Chicago, Illinois, Karlie Elizabeth Kloss was born on 3 August 1992 but grew up in the American suburbs of St. Louis. With grace and beauty, she was a classical ballet dancer as a young girl...something she states helped her in her future in modeling. After her appearance in abercrombie kids, for the famed Weber, Karlie has grown to become a major figure in the fashion modeling world. Supermodel Tyra Banks named Karlie, on Twitter, as her favorite model of the moment. Model and actress Molly Sims furthermore shared her opinion that Karlie would still be captivating the fashion world at the age of 30 because of her classic look. She was only 18 years old at the end of the 2000s, but Vogue Paris had already named Karlie as one of the top 30 models of the decade. Karlie is also ranked by models.com as #3 on its list of the top 50 models of now. It is well fair to say that Karlie Kloss is no longer that little abercrombie girl on the beach with friends... No, she is a women as fierce and determined as her breathtaking persona!

Karlie became a darling and close personal friend of the flamboyant and notorious designer John Galliano; the creative director, from 1996 to 2011, of one of the world's most commanding fashion houses, Christian Dior, as well as the ex-director of his own namesake John Galliano label. Karlie was featured prominently in his romantic, theatrical, and dramatic fashion shows. In fact, she would be the first to walk on out and start the shows with enthralling power embodying the beautiful femininity and romance of Galliano's vision. And apart from her captivating appearances on the Dior runway, she was also highly featured in much of Dior's advertising of its reputable fashion, makeup, and skincare lines. Your editor-in-chief, C.E.R., personally loves Karlie Kloss and is a particular admirer of her work for the house of Dior under Galliano...

Karlie is currently featured as the cover model of British Vogue, September 2012. (If you do not know, the September issue of any fashion magazine is THE most the important of the year). She is also highlighted in the greatest of publications in the fashion industry: the September 2012 issue of American Vogue. It is the biggest issue in Vogue history (coming in at an epic 916 pages), featuring Lady Gaga on the cover, and celebrating 120 years of Vogue. (Both Vogue and A&F turned 120 years old this year; Vogue having been launched on 17 December 1892). In the September 2012 issue, Karlie is one of four models (including Arizona Muse, Joan Smalls, and Liu Wen) featured as the "Fantastic Four":

" 'We're kind of a motley crew,' states Karlie Kloss, the first (and most certainly the last) person to refer to these superstar supermodels in such ragtag terms. But in a way, the model with legs long enough to stretch across the time-space continuum is right. Not because these women could appear anything other than glorious but because they each evoke a different idea of beauty, be it commanding [as Kloss]..." – American Vogue, September 2012, pg.853

Undoubtedly, the great fashion dame Karlie is as much a FIERCE, timeless symbol of great American achievement as is Abercrombie & Fitch...

Stay FIERCE!
