Hollister and Gilly Hicks on Regent Street, London Opening May 12!!!

The hottest pre-Olympics event mapped! Get ready London!
That's right, everyone! Hollister and Gilly Hicks at 83-97 Regent Street will both be opening doors on May 12! ...But that is just the tip of the iceberg, my friends!

Both locations have been officially confirmed as flagship stores! We've know from the onset that the Hollister location will be the first ever overseas HCo EPIC flagship store. We never really knew Gilly was opening a flagship, too! (Although we did have our suspicions). This is HUGE! Gilly Hicks, the beautiful Cheeky Cousin of Abercrombie & Fitch, will be opening her first ever flagship store in London!

As if that weren't enough, a further three more Gilly Hicks stores will be opening that same day throughout the rest of the London metropolitan area! Technically, only two of these stores will be within the London limits: the Westfield Stratford City mall in Stratford City; and the Bentall Centre in Kingston upon Thames. The third of those mall-based Gilly Hicks will be opening at Greenhithe, Kent, in the Bluewater shopping center approximately 17.8 miles (28.6 kilometers) east southeast of London. Counting London's first Gilly Hicks at Westfield London, the brand will operate a widespread retail presence throughout the area with five locations – the GH flagship store on Regent Street as the crown jewel!

The opening of the Hollister and Gilly Hicks stores strategically come only weeks before the start of the London 2012 Olympic Games (July 27 through August 12). By that time, the stores will have gained awareness as some of the hottest and most popular shopping hotspots in London. Tourism will be sky-high and that will play a significant role as it's bound to spread further international awareness, sure of Hollister, but more importantly of the Gilly Hicks brand!

After the opening of the Hollister and Gilly Hicks flagship stores, models posing as 'THE HOTTEST LIFEGUARDS' will ride double-decker buses down the streets of London to open the three remaining GH stores! Oh, and they will be throwing out to the passing crowds some of Gilly's cute Down Undies! This will all be just like when Gilly first opened in London back in November 2010 except that, this time, its gonna be cool-craze times three!!!
